Tecno Phantom 9 is a camera eccentric smartphone which happens to be the
latest flagship smartphone from the almighty Tecno Mobile.
After the launch of the Phantom 8 in 2017 everyone has been
expecting its predecessor but it didn't show up until now (2019, July). So,
without wasting much of your time, let's dive in to see all the pros and cons
that the long-awaited Phantom 9 has in stock for us.

Display, Design & Body Build
The Tecno Phantom 9 employs an amazing design, and though we've been able to
see lots of smartphones with similar design, it doesn't make the Phantom 9 any
less worthy of being talked about.
On the front of the phantom 9 lies a 6.39 inches AMOLED display which has a
resolution of about 1080 x 2340 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The
screen of the Phantom 9 promises to be perfect for streaming movies and playing
your favourite games.
The back of the new device is plain housing just the triple camera sensor,
the LED flash, Tecno Mobile logo and nothing more. I know you are wondering
where the fingerprint sensor is. It has now been moved to the screen
(under-display fingerprint sensor).
On the right lies the power button and volume rockers. The left holds
nothing. Meanwhile the bottom holds the 3.5mm jack and micro USB 2.0.
The Phantom 9 is presented in just one colour option which is the Lapland
Aurora.
Main and Selfie Camera
Just as we mentioned above, you will find just three primary cameras which
comprises of a 16-Megapixel, with an f/1.8 aperture. The second primary camera
is an 8-Megapixel with an f/2.4. While the third one is a 2-Megapixel with an
f/2.8.
If you flip the phantom 9 to the front, you will see the
single 32-Megapixel, which has an f/2.0 aperture, 26mm (wide), 1/2.8.

Software and Hardware
The internals of the Tecno Phantom 9 is where you get all the major upgrade.
Under the hood, you have the Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 (12nm) chipset piloting
the affairs of the smartphone. The processor is made up of an Octa-core (4x2.3
GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53), with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU which
handles all the graphic processing of the smartphone.
Tecno Phantom 9 happens to arrive in just one model which is the 128GB
internal storage with a 6GB RAM for smooth multitasking. The storage can
further be expanded via a MicroSD card.
